How It All Started

My journey began in the hospitality world. After earning a degree in Consumer Behavior and Product Design from the University of Oregon, I spent several years managing operations at a boutique hotel in Portland. That experience shaped my eye for quality I learned how much small details matter, whether it’s the comfort of a chair or the reliability of a kitchen appliance. Over time, friends and guests began turning to me for product advice, and I realized there was a gap between flashy marketing and what actually works in daily life.

Turning Passion Into Purpose

In 2025, I decided to relaunch EmmaBelle’s Café with a new vision: to create a calm, trustworthy space where readers can sip their morning coffee and explore honest product insights without the pressure of sales talk. I write from real experience I test, use, and live with every product before sharing my thoughts. From kitchen gadgets to home décor, travel essentials, and lifestyle accessories, every review is guided by one simple question: “Would I truly recommend this to someone I care about?”

My Approach

I believe reviews should feel like a chat with a friend, not a marketing pitch. That’s why each post blends practical advice with personal observation. I focus on how products fit into everyday life their comfort, durability, and value. If something impresses me, I’ll tell you why. If it doesn’t, I’ll tell you that too. I now live in Charleston, South Carolina, where I write, test, and photograph most of my reviews from home. My days are filled with product trials, local café visits, recipe experiments, and the occasional long walk with my golden retriever, Poppy. That balance of work and daily living helps me keep my reviews authentic and relatable.
